What is a Witricity Hotspot
A WiTricity Hotspot is a location where WiTricity is openly available to the public for Free or for a service charge. These locations will work in a similar way to the way WiFi hotspots work today.
For example, if you enter a Coffee Shop displaying the WiTricity Hotspot sign your phone or laptop would simply latch onto the WiTricity Hotspot and start charging.
A Hotspot can also be set up at home or in your office and will work in the same way as Hotspots on the go. All your enabled devices will simply latch onto your Hotspot @ Home or Hotspot @ Work WiTricity network.
A World with WiTricity
Imagine a world where you never have to worry about charging your Phone, Laptop, Tablet PC, Digital Camera, Car or in fact any battery operated device. That may seem like it’s decades away but we can expect WiTricity enabled devices available on the market as early as 2012!
